“Sick, wrong, and brilliant!”

Fellow author, Nathaniel Lambert (author of “It’s Okay to be a Zombie” and co-author of the ultra-bad-ass scifi/noir “Sideshow P.I.”) took advantage of Carnageland Day and won some awesome stuff.  When he read Carnageland, he had this to say:

“David W. Barbee took all the precious fairy tales from my childhood and crushed their cornholes.   Carnageland is a neat, sweet and petite tale of invader 898. His job is to … well, invade. Armed with only his omnipathic particle burping weapon and trumpeting genitals, 898 unleashes a barrage of medieval weapons, tentacles and infectious agents on sex-crazed fantastical creatures. That’s right. Barbee wrote a book about an alien invading a planet full of make believe characters pulled straight from our favorite childhood tales. That’s sick. That’s wrong. That’s brilliant.”
